To celebrate Star Trek’s 46th Anniversary, today’s Google Doodle is not only a cartoon of the original series cast in Google letter form, clicking highlighted areas will take you on a little mission (a tribute to Season 1, Episode 18: “Arena”).
While most Google Doodles are creative and entertaining, some go above and beyond the norm. This one, though—with our well-known affinity for Star Trek and pretty much all things space-related—truly captivated many around the office.
