OWC Products, Services Garner More Praise

PR_OWC2xesata_acceslsiorWhile we’ve been hard at work on exciting new products and services such as the OWC ThunderBay IV and our Mac Pro 2013 processor and memory turnkey upgrade program (check out more new releases here), our current lineup has been generating some buzz of its own. Check out just some of what our reviewers and customers have had to say recently.

OWC Mercury Accelsior_E2

Our Mercury Accelsior_E2 drive is a powerhouse PCIe SSD that meets the most demanding needs of video editing and creative professionals with capacity up to 960GB. In March, Les Tokar of The SSD Review took the Accelsior_E2 for a spin and had this to say: “It took us six tries before we trusted our own accuracy as it was so fast … There is no question whatsoever why both versions of the OWC Mercury Accelsior earned our Editor’s Choice Award … these are amazing PCI Express SSDs.” Click the link for more on our Mercury Accelsior_E2 drive and to see what it can do for your workflow!

NuGuard KX case and KXs Screen Armor

Our NuGuard KX lineup now offers 360 degrees of protection with the addition of the impact x-orbing KXScreen Armor. Deborah Porterfield of USA Today highlighted the KX for iPad Air and KXs recently, giving the case and screen armor high praise.

“[The KX case] provides protection without adding too much bulk … give clumsy owners of the iPad Air peace of mind.” She added that the hammer-hit tough NuGuard KXs “protects your screen without affecting its functionality.” Check out this video to see the x-treme protection you can get for your screen with the KXs.

OWC Envoy Pro

Tech guru Dave Taylor of Ask Dave Taylor put together an instructional video where he demonstrates how to install an OWC Aura Pro SSD in a MacBook Pro with Retina display and re-task the original SSD as a USB 3.0/2.0 bus-powered external drive with the Envoy Pro enclosure. He comments, “Is it worth the upgrade to double my disk space … oh yeah, it’s absolutely worth it and I am looking forward to a new lease on life with my MacBook Pro.”

Note: OWC recommends first installing the Aura Pro in your rMBP and the original SSD in the Envoy Pro. OWC then advises a clean install of the OS and using migration assistant to transfer your information.

The OWC Difference

One customer at Reseller Ratings gave OWC a perfect customer satisfaction score of 5/5 and also had some nice words to add.

I have been shopping at OWC for many years. They are my first choice for tech purchases. OWC provides me with top-of-the-line assistance every time! Transactions are easy and purchases have been delivered quickly and as promised. For me, the best part is that OWC is recognized as the place where professionals buy parts and equipment. When I mention the name OWC at the Apple store, the Geniuses stop treating me like an idiot-old-lady and begin talking to me like a peer. So thank you for that OWC. And thank you for always taking the time to talk to me about my equipment problems and for helping me to choose the right product for my needs.”
