Refresh Your 2008-2012 MacBook Air With Aura Pro

PR_MBA_EnvoyAuraNow that most of the country is seeing warm enough temperatures to actually spend time outside, we’re reminded of what might be the best part of owning a laptop – using it outdoors. And the MacBook Air is the ultimate get-some-fresh-air laptop for Mac users.

The MBA is also perfect for writers, students and others who depend on the portability of its ultra-thin and light design. However its thin design can also be a subtle reminder of just how thin storage space can seem after a few years or even just few semesters of use.

But just because the Air is thin, doesn’t mean you can’t still cram a large amount of storage inside. And OWC has the perfect solution to give your MacBook Air much more open space. (Still need a MacBook Air? Be sure to check out OWC’s great deals on used models).

The OWC Mercury Aura Pro line of SSDs provides flexibility in regard to capacity choices for your 2008-2012 MBA, with configurations up to 480GB. And because the Aura Pro is an OWC SSD, you can rest assured that along with your new storage space, your MacBook Air will perform better than ever, giving your machine a dramatic boost in boot, app load, and overall system performance at a great value.

And when you pair your 2010-2012 MacBook Air model with the sleek Envoy external storage solution, you’ll get even more storage capacity. Just install the original factory module in the Envoy with the included tool kit. Our install videos will even guide you every step of the way.

Have a first generation MacBook Air? We have you covered with the OWC ZIF SSD, which offers up to 120GB of flash storage.

So enjoy the great outdoors with your Aura Pro-upgraded MacBook Air and get a fresh new experience with new possibilities!

    • We showcased at CES this year that we are indeed working on it. But we can’t speak to release dates on the OWC Blog. When we’re ready to make an announcement, you’ll hear it here first, so be sure to bookmark us.

      • It would be awesome if you guys could offer 768 or 1TB. I have a 512 already and really could use the extra space without buying a new mac.
