I just ordered the Mercury Elite- AL for my G4 running 10.5, etc. I seems you just need more enclosures for your backup needs and especially saving backups after upgrading and sorting what to keep and what to delete. I'm especially excited to use Data backup 3! I love DB's features, ease of use and extreme reliability! Thanks OWC for the great deals! I love OWC! While the OWC Express is a great little enclosure (<em>especially</em> at that blowout price), I still love love love my On-The-Go. That little guy has taken all the abuse I've thrown at it without missing a beat. While not quite half-price, we <em>do</em> have a couple of the OTG enclosures on special for less than $40, which (when you get down to it) is actually a pretty decent deal, and gets even better if you get one of the "DIY Upgrade Bundles" - If I didn't have other plans for my 15" MBP, I'd be all over one of those. I agree with you.

I just bought a couple of these last month, and they make really great affordable and slim enclosures for my spare drives. My primary backup drive loves its On-The-Go FW800/USB enclosure, though.
