Your Donation Supports Got Your 6, Empowers Veterans

GOT YOUR SIXIn 2015, Got Your 6 empowered veterans through storytelling and highlighting veterans’ multi-dimensional attributes in order to normalize perceptions of those who have served.

Now, the organization is asking you to continue conversations with veterans – and share their stories. These conversations help to change the narrative and debunk the misconceptions of those who have served in the military.

And there is still time to help Got Your 6 with a donation in 2015 and help empower veterans and make our communities stronger. Your donation to Got Your 6 is an investment in the nearly quarter-million men and women who will leave the military next year seeking new opportunities here at home.

Got Your 6 Storytellers
This year’s Got Your 6 annual Storytellers campaign once again showcased the exemplary talents and ideas of some of our country’s brightest and most groundbreaking military veterans and supporters. These stories are helping to change the narratives about those who have served in the military and help facilitate in bridging the civilian-military divide. We are excited to share the tales that these veterans have told of their continuing service as civilians.

Below are just some of the powerful Storytellers videos, and you can watch the rest of the videos as they are added at gotyour6.org/programs/storytellers-2015/ or at the Got Your 6 YouTube page. (Note: Videos might contain some language that may be offensive to some, but it’s in the speakers’ words and from their real-world experience.)
