Fling for iPad brings iPad Gaming to New Level

Unless you’ve been stuck on a desert island for the past year or so, you may have heard something about a little device from Apple called the iPad. Apparently, it’s somewhat popular

Part of that popularity has translated into a HUGE number of games available for the iPad, many of which require a joystick-like directional pad on the screen of the iPad. As we’ve pointed out in our iOS App Reviews, an on-screen directional controller is a far cry from one you can actually feel.

Ten One Design has come up with a solution to that with their Fling game controller for iPad. This resin-crafted assembly simply adheres to your iPad via a pair of suction cups. The joystick floats over the area the “touch controller” would normally be, turning it into an actual, tactile joystick.

However, a movie will probably illustrate what I’m talking about a little better…

The Fling was a huge hit at CES 2011, and it’s now available through OWC. We suggest picking up the two-pack, enabling you to take control of those dual-joystick games.
