Newer Technology, Inc. announced today that it will introduce its next generation Power2U AC/USB Wall Outlet in Other World Computing’s (OWC) booth #5812, LVCC North Hall, during the Consumer Electronics Show which begins tomorrow in Las Vegas. Designed to enhance living and working spaces by eliminating the need for power adapters, the Power2U AC/USB outlet now features NEC tamper-resistant receptacles and is available in a new 20Amp model for residential and commercial, hospitality, education, and municipal applications. Visitors to the OWC booth will be able to experience the convenience of the Power2U firsthand by charging up one of their USB or AC powered devices.

Patented, UL Listed Design Complements Any Décor

Newer Technology introduced the Power2U at the 2012 CES show as the first patented and UL Listed device to seamlessly blend into any wall as a standard power outlet. Users can access two traditional three-prong AC wall sockets in addition to two USB 3.0/2.0/1.1 ports without encountering ‘plug barriers’ found on similar devices that can prevent multiple devices from being charged/powered simultaneously.
