As if the holiday deals were not reason enough already to shop with us this Cyber Monday, Other World Computing announced today that all orders of $1 or more will include Prosoft Engineering’s SoundBunny volume control application — a $9.99 value — for free!
Of course, a deal like this can’t last forever. It’s only available today, so act fast to guarantee yours. The offer will appear in your basket automatically with any order totaling $1 or more in other product purchases. If SoundBunny was added to the cart before the free qualification, SoundBunny’s price will be auto-updated to free.
Controls Each Application’s Volume Independently
SoundBunny is a simple, yet powerful Mac volume control application that provides the ability to control the volume level for all open applications in one, easy-to-use interface. Set the volume high for a movie or game you’re playing, while setting the volume low or even muted for Mail alerts or notifications. Since the program discovers all of the sound-enhanced applications that are running, you can also control any others that need to be turned down or muted. Gone forever is the hassle of having to change your Mac’s master volume setting for each app change.
Didn’t get a chance to take advantage of our free SoundBunny offer on Cyber Monday? Well, you are in luck! Because of the popular demand for this unique volume control application, we’re extending our offer for an entire Cyber Week special. Offer ends at approximately 11:30 p.m. this Friday or while supplies last.

Happy “Black Friday,” everybody! We hope that all of our customers had a very safe and happy Thanksgiving filled with family, friends, great food and long naps!
All across the country people are doing some serious shopping, be it from the comfort of their own home or bravely wading through the crowds of their favorite retail destinations. Personally, I’m a “sit -at-home-with-a-hot-chocolate-and-some-fuzzy-slippers” kind of shopper. Other than shopping in pure comfort, there are many other benefits to shopping from home this weekend and throughout the holiday season; my favorites include not having to worry about being squished, staying out of the cold (which is officially upon us in our part of the woods), and (my number one benefit) no wasted gas money! I just click, click, click the items I want and watch for the boxes of fun to arrive.
If you start early enough, just about every retailer has free or extremely discounted shipping options this time of year. The emphasis is on starting early, however; I’m sure I’m not the only person who, in the past, has had to wrap up a couple bits of chocolate and an IOU for the gift that didn’t quite make it on time.
Here at OWC, we’re big believers that knowledge is power, so we’ve set up some tips and shipping estimates and deadlines to help make sure you get your order from us on time. After all, holidays are much better spent enjoying quality time with family and friends, rather than stressing over shipping times. Article Continues…
As Black Friday has been underway, the retail store chaos never ceases to amaze! Standing in line to get into stores… in line for time release specials that are often exhausted way before the line is. And then more lines just to check out… What a contrast to the calm and peaceful ease of doing it online…

Our effort to raise $125,000 for charity: water continues to move forward. Here’s this week’s update.
First let’s start with donations for new Twitter followers. We gained 171 new followers last week, bringing our total contributions there to $6,160.
Next, we had 1,317 new entries in our OWC 25th Year Kickoff Celebration Sweepstakes, bringing our “dollar an entry” pledge to $4883.
We also had an additional $1195 in independent pledges to our charity: water portal page, which brings us to a total of $7421 in donations that we’ll be matching.
We’re closer today than we were last week, Help us out by following our Twitter feed (which will bring in $5 per new subscriber this weekend, rather than $1), donating directly, or entering our Sweepstakes. Time is running out on that last one, though; Sweepstakes entry ends November 30.
