Thursday, October 4th, 2012 | Author: OWC NewsFeed

It’s getting to be that time, where thoughts drift to goblins, ghouls, and the occasional vampire. It’s a time full of pumpkins, caramel apples, and those horrible peanut butter candies wrapped in orange and black waxed paper that had equal chances of cracking a tooth or pulling out a filling, depending on how old it was.

Well, we’ve got a bowl full of treats in this month’s Garage Sale, with no tricks in sight. Honestly, it’s like finding that house that’s giving away the full-size candy bars. So while we go rummaging around for that bag of fun-size peanut butter cups, take a look at these sweet deals we’ve scared up for you this month: Article Continues…

Every year, between August 11 and August 13, the Perseid meteor shower reaches its peak, filling the sky with streaks of light. So long as it isn’t cloudy, it’s truly an exciting show to watch.

Just as exciting are the great deals we’ve got for you in this month’s Garage Sale. Here’s just a sampling of what’s available this month – and you won’t even need a clear sky to enjoy it!

We’re well into May now, which means we’re at the height of Spring. Days are considerably longer, flowers are blooming, and that whack-a-doodle robin that’s been attacking my bedroom window every morning for the past month has built a nest on the deck railing next to my front door instead. Of course, it’s also time to remember Mom and all that she’s done for us.

While Mothers’ Day has already past, that doesn’t mean you can’t get that special lady a little something extra “just because” – especially if it makes that special computer in her life run a little faster, smoother, or just plain better. Our monthly Garage Sale has a bevy of great deals on popular upgrades, so there’s a good chance we’ve got just what will make her digital life better. Here’s just a hint of what’s available this month:
