Time For Some Entertainment In 10 Second Intervals.

Saturday, June 15th, 2013 | Author:

I’m by no means a car junkie. I know enough to get in trouble and do basic repairs. But I love racing games, anything that lets me drift / powerslide or drag race as in this case. So were going to take a look at one of the prettiest iOS racers around, CSR Racing for the iPhone, iPad, and Android devices.

CSR has five main tiers of play. The first screenshot after the break represents the five racing groups you need to defeat as you progress through the game. Each tier has five members. As you defeat a member the next member unlocks for you to defeat and increases with difficulty every step you take upwards.

Puzzle Game Shootout: Flips, Bombs, and Keys Oh My!

Friday, May 24th, 2013 | Author:

No, I don’t hate puzzle games. No, I don’t think they are horrible; and truthfully, you might get that impression from my last review. Well I assure you that I do love a puzzle challenge, as long as the mechanics are set up right. Even other games that have randomly generating pieces do well—I love Tetris, it’s a classic!

That being said, I prefer puzzle games that make me scratch my head. I want a logical challenge, not a probability game. Thus I have put together a good list of three excellent puzzle games of ranging difficulty, to help you find some great gems out there in the App Store.  Article Continues…

After OWC Becky, OWC Kevin, and others in the office have practically begged me to review Candy Crush Saga, I have finally done so. However, brace for impact, this isn’t going to be pretty.

I’m going to start this review by saying I don’t like gambling, I don’t enjoy games of chance. If I’m going to pour hours of time into a game (the game currently has 305 levels) I expect some reasonable level of confidence in knowing that I have a chance to beat the level I’m on when I start. This is where my problem lies in C.C.S., if the random algorithms, decide to not give me what I need, I lose.  You can be the best puzzle game player on earth, or Other Worlds, and will fail. Get your trading card game fix in this award-winning cross-platform wonder, for Mac OS X,  iOS, Android, and PC from Wulven Studios!

When it comes to visually stunning titles Shadow Era is up there in the charts, with bold graphic styles, and a wonderful interface, making this trading card game, (which typically translates poorly to handheld devices) an absolute joy to play.

When first starting the game, you must choose a hero to represent you and your deck. Hero’s are broken down into 2 factions, Human and Shadow, and each Hero also has a class.  This decides what kind of cards you can place into your deck. For example, if selecting a Human Mage Hero, I can use Human cards and Mage cards but not Rogue or Shadow.
