Newer Technology Inc. announced today its new NuGuard KXs Impact X-orbing Screen Armor for the Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphone. Screen protection against accidental impacts and scratches comes without sacrificing functionality or adding bulk, and is available in two coverage options – Full Size and Case Friendly. Triple layer, ultra-thin, hyper-advanced energy X-Orbing protective layers offers incredible scratch, shatter, and impact protection without impeding the display or affecting the screen’s touch sensitivity or clarity.
Available in ‘Case Friendly Size’ and Full Size Options
The NuGuard KXs for the Samsung Galaxy S4 “Case Friendly” design leaves a small gap around the edges of the screen for a perfect fit when paired with the NuGuard KX case for the Samsung Galaxy S4 and most other cases. The Full Size protects from top-to-bottom and side-to-side across the entire screen. Article Continues…

I tied that bad boy up and my rope was better than new. Also it should be mentioned that I fought off a pack of lions with the cable not but a week later. (Note: Please do not try to hang from your NewerTech Lightning Cable at home… or in a temple.)
Back in reality, I had been doing something just as demanding: pushing my way though the waves and waves of people at SXSW here in Austin. There is one thing that even the most experienced SXSW-goer looks for several times during the day – a place to charge their phone. Sometimes it’s in a crowd of people pushing around a portable charge station. Other times it’s in a socket in a dark alley. Article Continues…
As we’ve showed you in the past, there are plenty of ways to break your iPhone. Admittedly, some ways are more common than others (most people tend to text while walking slightly more than they breakdance).
So how exactly are people breaking their iPhones? SquareTrade released some statistics on how the devices have been meeting their premature demise over the years. They’ve confirmed our rampant walking-and-texting habit by finding the No. 1 reason to be the iPhone “fell out of my hand”. (We have yet to confirm where “fell out of my wind turbine” ranks.) And 24 percent of owners either had their iPhone fall from their lap or knocked from the table. This is a significant portion of accidents, but these kinds of things just happen.
A separate study by mobileinsurance.co.uk illustrates the top reasons why these broken iPhone screens are often left unfixed:
