Get Your Geek On This Weekend

As great as our Macs and iDevices are, there are times when we need to get out from behind the screen and do something fun with our families, friends, and/or significant others. Fortunately, this weekend offers a number of great activities that will get you out of the house, while still keeping up with those traditional geek values and interests.
Star Wars Day, May 4
Sure, it may be a little late to come to work dressed as a one of the 501st Legion or to make that Jar Jar Binks piñata, but there’s still plenty to do on May the Fourth (get it?). Here’s just a couple of ideas off the top of my head:
- Back to back viewings of the Original Trilogy.
- Impromptu light saber fights with your friends during your lunch hour.
- Organize a Star Wars themed dance routine.
- Dress up your dog.
I’m sure you can come up with other ideas, too. Just remember: friends don’t let friends watch the prequels.

OWC Radio #53 – New Macs, New iPads, New Upgrades

New Beginnings – OWC Radio #43
OWC Radio starts a new direction in this episode. While OWC Radio bids a fond farewell to Tim Robertson as host, the new OWC Radio has moved to a forum setting hosted by the four most prolific posters to the OWC Blog: OWC Grant, OWC Chris S., OWC Michael, and OWC Mike H.
Join us as we explore some of our first experiences with Apple computers and discuss whether or not the iPad marks the future of touchscreen computing.
