OWC Products Get High Marks From Reviewers

Globe-AplusRecently we released a new model of our NuGuard KX line for the iPad Air, and its proven to be a hit with customers and reviewers alike. But other OWC products have also been basking in the critical praise lately. Check out what some of the reviewers have had to say recently about OWC’s products.

NuGuard KX for iPad Air

In October, we took the already popular NuGuard KX line for iPhone and iPad mini and expanded it (literally) to bring the same benefits to the iPad Air. Randy Yagi of examiner.com had praise for the KX for iPad Air, saying “Newer Technology’s NuGuard KX Case for the iPad Air is a solid two thumbs up and a five star rating for this review.”

Steven Sande of TUAW.com also sang the praises of the NuGuard KX for iPad Air, noting its protection against everyday threats to the device. “… NewerTech’s NuGuard KX sleeve provides an impressive amount of protection to your iPad Air. The X-Orbing gel material inside the case does a very good job of absorbing everyday drops and bumps, keeping your tablet in one piece.”

OWC Data Doubler

Russ Walkowich from MyMac.com recently got his hands on the OWC Data Doubler Bundle with a 240GB Electra 6G SSD for the Mac mini and gave an extensive look at his findings. Needless to say he came away impressed and gave the bundle a “MyMac rating of 9 out of a possible 10.” Check out the review for Walkowich’s findings on the Data Doubler and to see what a difference an OWC SSD can make!

OWC Memory

One product sure to please users of almost any Mac is OWC’s award-winning memory. Randy Yagi of examiner.com upgraded his iMac with OWC memory and points out that it’s a great way to breathe new life into and older or sluggish Mac. Yagi gave OWC memory a perfect 5 out of 5 score.

  • I may be wrong but there are even further savings in buying OWC’s memory upgrade over Apple’s. You can sell the base configuration RAM or install them elsewhere. I’m no techie, just a hacker with a cause, so I could be wrong.
