Women in Tech: ‘Code Like a Girl’ Highlights Young Women at WWDC

BuzzFeed created a 5-minute video highlighting a group of young women as they attended last week’s Apple Worldwide Developer’s Conference. It’s inspiring, and shows some of this year’s scholarship winners as they travel to WWDC, meet Apple CEO Tim Cook, and talk about the apps they’ve developed.

Through our Women in Tech series on the Rocket Yard, we’ve discussed the lack of diversity in the technology industry with women comprising 51 percent of the workforce, yet only 26 percent of tech professionals.
