Digital Artists: Call for Entries in 7th Annual Pogo Art Contest

Contest banner: Pogo Art Contest 2015

Attention Rocket Yard reader! Are you an artist who uses an iPad, iPhone or Mac to create original works of art? Since 2009, Ten One Design has been sponsoring an art contest dedicated to those who create paintings and drawings using a variety of apps and the company’s line of Pogo iPad and iPhone styluses. The company recently opened the 2015 Pogo Art Contest for entries, and artists have until August 31, 2015 to polish their art and submit it for judging.

The Grand Prize winner will really clean up in this year’s contest, receiving a copy of Corel Paint 2015, an Apple Watch Sport, and a $100 iTunes gift card. Four category winners will also take home prizes, although they’re not as impressive as the Grand Prize! Even if you’re not a winner, the contest provides a way for your works of art to gain a worldwide audience.

And if you do plan to enter, check out OWC’s Ten One Design offerings to help your creations come to life!

Many of the entries in previous years have been spectacular, showcasing not only the skill of the artists involved, but also the capabilities of the art apps used to produce the works.
