Why are Apple RAM and Apple SSD so expensive? Are they better? Fully tested?
This is even more striking taking into account that Apple purchases millions of such components from original manufacturers, getting much better deals for sure.
Any idea yet on whether it is possible to set up an internal SSD/HD combo? Is the PCIe SSD used in these new machines the standard PCIe or is it the Apple proprietary drive?
Otherwise, just thinking of setting up a drive in an external TB case and rolling a Fusion drive from that.
