OWC believes in making a difference for our customers. In fact, we call our commitment to customer service from the moment a product is purchased “The OWC Difference”. And sometimes we hear about a great example of one of our customers making a difference of their own that we want to share.

Dr. Daniel Ivankovich, along with nine others, was recently named one of the 2015 Top 10 CNN Heroes. CNN Heroes are remarkable individuals who were selected by a blue ribbon panel for their efforts to help the world through their passion to make a change.

Ivankovich is a doctor who runs three clinics in Chicago (near OWC headquarters in Woodstock, Ill.) and treats patients regardless of their ability to pay. In 2010, he co-founded the nonprofit OnePatient Global Health Initiative. Ivankovich performs more than 600 surgeries a year and more than 100,000 patients have benefited from the program.

Voting will determine which of the 10 CNN Heroes will be named “Hero of the Year” and all of the Heroes will be honored Dec. 6 during, “CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute,” on CNN.

We hope you’ll consider each nominee’s mission to help others and vote for the candidate that you believe is most deserving of the honor. To learn more about Dr. Ivankovich’s efforts, please click here: www.cnn.com/2015/07/09/health/cnn-heroes-ivankovich.
