Remembering Steve Jobs On His 61st Birthday

JobsToday is February 24, which is Steve Jobs’ birthday. The former Apple CEO would have turned 61 today.

Jobs, who died October 5, 2011, is most remembered for his work with Apple Inc., but his contributions extended far beyond one company.

Today is a great day to remember Jobs and appreciate what he accomplished in the time after he co-founded Apple with Steve Wozniak and Ronald Wayne in a Los Altos, California garage in 1976.

 

For great insight into Jobs’ life, one can watch his 2005 Stanford Commencement Address. Jobs draws from his own experiences to encourage graduates to follow their dreams. You can see the entire speech below:
