PlayStation 4’s Remote Play Coming to Macs, PC ‘Soon’

PS4_UpgradeKitYou have your PlayStation 4, and you have your Mac. But in the near future, you’ll be able to play your PlayStation 4 directly on your Mac.

Sony announced today that users will “soon” be able to take advantage of its Remote Play app for streaming PS4 games on a Mac or Windows PC. Sony first announced the possibility back in November, and it looks like we won’t have to wait much longer for it to become a reality.

With Remote Play, gamers can play their PlayStation 4 games from anywhere in their home on another screen (such as a Mac) as long as the PS4 and secondary device are connected to Wi-Fi.

There’s no release date set as of now, but it seems that battles over the TV screen will soon be a thing of the past for Mac and PlayStation 4 owners.

In the meantime, you can ensure your PlayStation 4 has plenty of storage for additional gaming sessions with the OWC DIY 2.0TB Drive Upgrade Bundle for up to 4x more space than the stock drive. And if you’re looking for a Mac to play on, MacSales.com has a wide selection of Used Macs to choose from.
