WWDC Dates Announced by Siri, Will Be Held June 13 to June 17

IMG_4048

A reliable source reports that Apple has made its 2016 Worldwide Developers Conference dates official. When asked about WWDC, Siri answers that the conference will be held June 13 through June 17 in San Francisco. The conference will likely once again be held at the Moscone West convention center.

Until Siri’s announcement today, the dates of the conference had only been speculated on. Similar to last year, there will likely be a lottery held for tickets. Last year’s tickets were $1,599 apiece. Apple also provided about 350 WWDC Scholarships to students and members of participating STEM organizations.

At this year’s conference, Apple will likely preview its new software including iOS, tvOS, watchOS, and possibly a new MacOS that will be released in the fall. There’s a possibility of new hardware, such as new MacBooks, being released at WWDC as well.

In any case, be on the lookout for an official invitation from Apple in the near future. What do you expect at this WWDC? Let us know in the comments section.
