New & Future OWC Gear to be Showcased at 2017 NAMM Show

[UPDATE:] The 2017 NAMM Show is now open! and see OWC Ron of our Product Development team discuss the OWC Thunderbolt 3 Dock.

This week, tens of thousands of tech and music enthusiasts will gather for the 2017 edition of the NAMM Show at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, Calif.

Team OWC will have its largest presence ever for the show that runs from Jan. 19-22! From Thursday through Sunday at booth #5766, OWC will showcase some of its newest solutions (and some possible surprises) including the recently announced OWC DEC, which Lifehacker says “makes the MacBook Pro an actual pro machine.”

Below is just a small sample of the great tech that will appear at 2017 NAMM Show:

OWC DEC
The OWC DEC (pictured above) is the first-ever expansion solution designed specifically for the 2016 Apple MacBook Pro. The OWC DEC is the finishing touch to a MacBook Pro, allowing users to take their laptops to the next level, extending the life and the functionality of the already-exceptional 2016 MacBook Pro. The DEC is the latest in OWC’s long line of upgrades for nearly every Mac made and continues the company’s legacy of providing the best solutions for Mac owners.

OWC Thunderbolt 3 Dock
With the 13 ports you need, OWC’s new Thunderbolt 3 Dock brings unbelievable connectivity to your laptop through an included Thunderbolt 3 cable, and delivers charging power to your laptop and other devices, all at the fastest speeds possible. Drive two 4K displays, connect and charge up to six USB devices, work with legacy FireWire storage, enjoy pristine audio, wired networks, and read SD cards, all at twice the speed of Thunderbolt 2.

Mercury Elite Pro Dual with Thunderbolt 2 Technology
The new Mercury Elite Pro Dual with Thunderbolt 2 technology – designed in Austin, TX by the OWC new product development team – offers speeds up to 474 MB/s, capacities up to 20TB, and RAID modes 0 and 1. Its newly engineered aluminum enclosure features a larger, quieter fan and an advanced airflow design for drive health and longevity.

Mercury Elite Pro Dual mini
Packing dual-drive, USB 3.1 Gen 2 performance into a portable, bus-powered form factor, the Mercury Elite Pro Dual mini is the perfect drive for high demand applications on the go. With ample capacities up to 2TB SSD or 4TB HDD, no matter where you are, Elite Pro Dual mini delivers the performance and flexibility to meet the most extreme workflow requirements for pros working with rich media content.
