  • Could you please update this listing? I would guess that the OWC Accelsior Pro Q has been replaced by the OWC Accelsior 1A, 1M2, 2M2, 4M2 range?

  • After reading that the card needs a driver and reading your answer about not being bootable, how about putting that into the text?

  • Any idea how this stacks up for file sharing? I’ve got some Mac Pro’s with Acrea 1880ix RAID cards and 3x 15k7 cheeta drives (stripe 0). These are specifically for AFP file sharing (high speed, netboot imaging).

  • Two Questions:

    (1) Is the onboard SSD upgradable like the original Accelsior (and E2) cards?

    (2) Will there be an upgrade option for older Accelsior cards (probably not, still had to ask)?

Thank you for your continued support for us older Mac Pro users!

  • Will the Accelsior Pro Q ever be bootable under on MacPros? Will you continue to offer the Mercury Accelsior E2 PCIe cards that do support Mac booting?

    • Great question! We are very sorry but the Accelsior Pro Q will not be bootable but we will still be offering the Accelsior E2!

Please let us know if you have any further questions.
