OWC Thunderbolt 3 Dock Named Video Edge Magazine’s ‘Best In Show’ at NAB

The OWC Thunderbolt 3 Dock on Wednesday was named the recipient of NewBay’s Best of Show Award, presented at the 2017 NAB Show by Video Edge.

NewBay’s Best of Show Awards are evaluated by a panel of industry experts and are selected based on innovation, feature set, cost efficiency and performance in serving the industry.

The OWC Thunderbolt 3 Dock – available for pre-order at MacSales.com – delivers more connectivity, more power, and charging capability than ever before all at the fastest speed available today so all your connected devices perform at their maximum. Drive two 4K displays, connect and charge up to six USB devices, work with legacy FireWire storage, enjoy pristine audio, wired networks, and read SD cards, all at twice the speed of Thunderbolt 2 and all through a single cable.

“The products nominated for the Best of Show program, now in its fourth year, provide an outstanding overview of new technology on the show floor and shine a spotlight on the very best,” said NewBay Broadcast & Video Group Vice President & Group Publisher Eric Trabb.

  • Nice video of the OWC Thunderbolt 3 Dock. Glad he got his dock. I preordered several weeks ago but have yet to get mine.

  • What??? This dock is seriously underpowered. With only 60W of power going into your MacBook Pro 15″ you are essentially going to deplete your battery if you are doing any professional work on it. This could have been the best dock around, but now… it’s just not.
