  • Can the Mini DisplayPort output 4k at 60Hz? Many USB-C hubs only output 4k at 30Hz.

  • Will the USB-C Dock work with my Mid-2010 MacBook Pro laptop that is running MacOS Sierra 10.12.4?

    • Thank you for your question! The Mid 2010 MacBook Pro will not be compatible. The OWC USB-C Dock will only be compatible with the 2015 MacBook, 2016 MacBook Pro (excluding the 15″ model) and PC computers with USB Type-C ports.

If you have any further questions, please let us know.

      • So are you saying that a 2011 MBP connected to the dock via FW800 cannot use the dock to connect to another device?

  • Why does the product page show that this dock is incompatible with the 2016 15″ MacBook Pro with Touch Bar, but does work with the 2016 13″ MacBook Pro with Touch Bar? I’d order one, I don’t need all of the features of the Thunderbolt 3 dock, but it looks like it won’t work.

    • Thank you for your question! The SD card reader will Support UHS-1 with speeds up to 70 MB/s. Please let us know if you have any further questions.
