[Update: The drop-off has been temporarily delayed due to a power outage.]
CNET has challenged the top case makers to a “drop-off” at CES to see which can protect an iPhone X from the highest drop.
To that, we say: “Challenge accepted.”
The NewerTech NuGuard KX case for iPhone X will take part in the competition live at CNET’s CES stage at 3 p.m. Central Time, Wednesday, Jan. 10. For those not at CES who want watch the drop-off, CNET will be broadcasting online at CNET.com and on its YouTube channel.
As a “warm-up” for the competition on the big stage, Founder and CEO Larry O’Connor took his wife’s iPhone X (making it far riskier…) for a test drop at the Houston International Airport while encased in the NuGuard KX with state-of-the-art x-orbing technology.
Check out the video below!
The video, shot on an iPhone 6s, shows the 6-foot-1 CEO tossing the iPhone X with a release point of over seven feet! For more on the NuGuard KX and its award-winning protection, visit: eshop.macsales.com/shop/nuguard-kx/iphone-x
