  • Hi Cirina, I once tried to persuade OWC to build a Thunderbolt 3 dock with a Thunderbolt 2 port as well. You could then plug in a male Thunderbolt 3 cable and exit to a computer with a Thunderbolt 2 port. They told me that the chipsets are different, so there wouldn’t be enough space, but I wouldn’t have minded a bigger dock.
