We Could All Use “Some Good News”

SGN logo

I know this isn’t quite the usual Rocket Yard post, but I felt a little change of pace might be nice. It’s hard to not get dragged down when an entire nation—and a good chunk of the globe—is shut down. It’s defeating when we are continuously bombarded with vitriol on social media. And the news? Well, tune in to any major news outlet for any length of time, and you’ll find yourself wanting to schedule a triple session with your therapist. Albeit via FaceTime.

But there is a bright spot. There is actually good news happening out there, and John Krasinski is bringing it to us every week!

If you haven’t had the chance to tune into his now wildly popular “Some Good News” show, I’d recommend you take a few minutes, give it watch, and give your soul some much-needed rest. Funny, heart-warming, and very well produced, John provides us with a chance to clear our minds of the week’s toxic buildup and put a little faith back into our spirit of humanity.

Rocket Yard recommendation:
A 15-minute break once a week to watch “Some Good News with John Krasinski.” Don’t worry, we’ll post reminders. 😊

In this week’s episode of SGN, John brings in his friends Guy Fieri, Martha Stewart, David Chang, and Stanley Tucci for an SGN potluck. Enjoy!
